  1. Basket Weaving Workshop

    March 21, 2017, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center

    This is a basket making workshop for beginner and experienced skill levels. You will walk away with a great basket that you made yourself. All supplies are included with the class fee. This workshop is intended for adults and teens with their parents. Little Catch-All Basket (8" x 5" x 5" tall) This functional basket has a rectangle wood base, dyed reed accent weavers and two wavy wood dowel handles. Color choices are offered during class. Spring and Easter colors will be offered as well.

    March 21, 2017, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center

    The Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center hosts monthly Fireside Chats, through which the Village of Round Lake Beach is bringing the County and State government closer to local residents. The evenings will begin at 6:00 pm with a Meet and Greet. There will be an informal conversation between the elected official and Mayor Hill, along with guest moderators from 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm. Residents will have the opportunity to get involved in a Q&A session from 7:15 pm to 7:30 pm. Coffee and desserts will be provided, compliments of the Village. These Fireside Chats at the Center will host elected officials from Lake County and are open to the public at no charge. Our goal is to bring our communities and elected officials together in a comfortable setting to share community information that is of value to everyone.
