What is the Non emergency number for police?
For Non-Emergency calls please dial 847-270-9111.

For Emergency calls, please dial 911.

What time is your records department open?
Records is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Does it cost money for a copy of a police report?
You can obtain a copy of a Police Report by submitting a Freedom of Information Act commonly known as a FOIA request, through our office or an online at NextRequest and submit an electronic request. 

There is a minimum of 5 business days for said request to be completed, no fee charged for the first 50 pages of black and white letter size paper, after 50 pages there is a fee of $0.15 per every page.

If you need a copy of a Traffic Accident Report you can go online to Lexis Nexis and obtain a copy of the report, there is a fee for a copy of this report determined by the amount of pages in report.
My vehicle was towed by your department, how and where can I pay the fee?
Towing fees must be paid in cash at the Round Lake Beach Police Department or the Round Lake Beach Village Hall on Saturdays.
Where do I pay for my traffic ticket?
Traffic tickets must be paid at the Lake County Branch Court III. The branch court is located at:

How do I contest a parking ticket?
You can request a hearing date at the Round Lake Beach Police Department by calling our office and indicating that you will be attending the hearing. Hearings to contest parking tickets are held at the Village Hall at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, must call beforehand so you can be entered on the docket for the hearing, no walk-ins.
Where do I pay a parking ticket?
You can pay a Parking or Local Ordinance ticket five different ways.

  1. Going online through http://violationspayment.com/ and selecting the municipality and then continuing as guest.
  2. Paying your ticket in person at the Village Hall - 1937 N Municipal Way Round Lake Beach IL 60073 during normal business hours
  3. Paying over the phone by calling our office at 847.546.2351
  4. Dropping it in our drop off box outside the Village Hall
  5. Mailing in your ticket with payment to our office, make sure to not send cash and send a copy of the ticket so it can be applied accordingly.

Employees of the Round Lake Beach Police Department understand that the integrity of the Department depends greatly upon the integrity and discipline of each individual member.
